From my family to yours…

Merry Christmas!

We’d like to take this time to say thanks to all of our friends, family, and loyal blog followers for all of your support, comments, shares, and shout outs on your blogs. It’s your support and feedback that keeps us going! So thank you.

2016 was a huge year for us getting this site up and running with no prior writing or web design experience along with the challenges that life has set forth for each and every one of us. But we did it and you can too! Follow your dreams and walk the path that God has laid out for you. Don’t settle for mediocrity. Looking forward to big things in 2017. Be on the lookout for many many more articles, workouts, and delicious recipes, along with a fresh and easier to navigate site design coming soon, a potential launch of a YouTube channel, amongst other things. Keep those eyes peeled!

A couple things I’d like to ask of you today.

One, think long and hard about a goal you’d like to achieve this year.

Two, write down the first steps you’re going to take to get there.

Don’t let this be the typical New Years revolution that gets old and fades away in a month or two, think about goals and life changes that will push you towards becoming the best YOU you could possibly be.

And finally, what would you like to see Sweet Machine Fitness do in the future. We do have some plans but suggestions and feedback from our readers is always great too!! Leave in the comments section below.

But before I go, I’d like to thank personally today God for creating me and giving me the drive to push forward, my wife Rhianna for being so supportive of everything I do as well being a hard worker herself and making contributions to our website, my kids of course for their love, my mom for her love and support, my dad for showing me that cooking great food doesn’t make you any less manly, all of my grandparents for being there for me and my family through the years helping out in any way possible, my mother in law Glynis for supporting our blog and sharing all of our articles, my bro Charlie for being getting me out of bed before 6 am on my days off to show me some gymnastics and strongman workouts, Alex of the Zero to Alpha blog for plenty of blog resources and just all around being a good dude, Span ministry for being an awesome church and in particular Lorans for helping me get this site started and Kenan for being a good dude. Plus my brothers and many other friends and family members that aren’t listed here. Don’t feel left out of your name isn’t on here there’s so many others out there who contributed towards making me who I am today the list just gets way too big! It’s been a blessed year and I’m blessed to have a lot of great people in my life. Iron truly sharpens iron!

Have a blessed day celebrating the birth of Christ with friends, family, and loved ones! Remember, that’s what Christmas is really about. So eat some delicious food, enjoy gift exchanges, and do what you can to share the love today. Check back this week for one more article by Rhianna to end 2016. As for me, I’m going to relax and enjoy a few days off of work and my 27th birthday.

Big things to come in 2017 so I’ll talk to you then!

With much love,

Luke
